MEET THE TEAM

Veterinary Physiotherapist | Canine Hydrotherapist
MSc, BSc (Hons), PGDip, MRAMP

I have always been passionate about helping animals—especially those who can’t verbalize their discomfort. Growing up with horses and dogs, I developed a strong interest in animal rehabilitation and physiotherapy, which led me to pursue an Integrated Master’s degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Writtle University in Essex. While completing my undergraduate studies, I also earned an additional diploma in Human Sports Massage at the University of Nottingham, expanding my expertise in both canine and human physiotherapy.
To ensure I provide the best possible care, I regularly enhance my skills through ongoing professional development, attending specialist courses to integrate the latest techniques into my practice. While I have a particular interest in canine rehabilitation, I am dedicated to supporting all species in need of physiotherapy and musculoskeletal care.
In addition to running Driscoll Therapy, I am also a university lecturer at the University of Nottingham, educating and mentoring future veterinary physiotherapists. This role allows me to stay at the forefront of the industry, ensuring that my treatments are always backed by cutting-edge research and best practices.
My Veterinary Physiotherapy qualification is one of the few in the UK that grants direct entry onto RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners), which is considered the gold standard for veterinary physiotherapists. Being RAMP-registered ensures that pet owners and vets can trust my expertise, ethical practice, and high standard of care.
I have a strong passion for working with sporting and working dogs. During my time lecturing at Writtle University, I had the pleasure of supporting the Essex Police Dog Section and since then, my interest in conditioning for working and sporting dogs has continued to develop. In addition to this, my time working with nervous and reactive dogs for multiple charities has fuelled my drive to ensure that any animal has access to physiotherapy with positive support, regardless of their history.

Hi I'm Diana, a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and hydrotherapist with a passion for helping animals live pain-free lives.
Before obtaining my integrated Master’s in vet physio, I gained extensive hands on experience working in boarding kennels, riding schools and volunteering in rescue centres, giving me a well rounded understanding of animal behaviour and welfare. I always knew I wanted to work with animals, and becoming a veterinary physiotherapist has been the perfect way to combine my passion for animal care with my interest in rehabilitation and movement.
I’m excited to be part of the team and look forward to treating your lovely companions!

The support we provide your animal's means that we communicate beyond our clinic.
We are a part of your animal's team and because of this, we will regularly communicate with other people supporting your animals. Regular updates to your animal's veterinary and any other professional working with them (hydrotherapist, behaviourist, trainer etc.) are standard with our physiotherapy support.

University of Nottingham Teaching Dog | Good Boy
This would not be a 'Meet the Team' page without including Zuco. He came into Steph's life in 2020 after he was found wandering the Bosnian streets. Since then, he has gone from street dog, to teaching dog. As well as helping to teach vets and veterinary physiotherapists at the university of Nottingham, Zuco is also the 'Driscoll Therapy Demo Dog'. When we work with dogs who may find hands on assessment and treatment difficult, Zuco volunteers to teach owners how perform certain treatments. When not at work, Zuco can be found supervising the sofa.
